Once upon a picture: Images to inspire 
The date was 19/06/2014. That day was not normal ; you would never guess what happened. Well , let me tell you from the beginning. BEEP-BEEP-BEEP , tom’s alarm clock rang . Bizarrely he could tell something wasn’t right about today ,from the second he woke up . He was so tired;
Tom barely wanted to get out of bed – but he knew he had to . Groaning and Moaning , he flung his duvet off his body and jumped out of bed . Tom gently pulled open his curtains as the incandescent, golden ,glowing sun dazzled amongst the blues in the sky .
” Tom,” his mum yelled from downstairs , ” it’s nearly time for school !”
“I’m Coming !” He replied
He ran downstairs and into the kitchen to see his mum finishing her cross-word. He grabbed a bowl from the cupboard and poured himself some cereal.
Once he had finished , he got changed into his school uniform and brushed his teeth. Grabbing his school bag , he could still sense that something was unusual about today – but he couldn’t quite work out what it was. And so off he went to school. All day it bothered him: destracted him in lessons , anoyed him at lunch and he couldn’t focus on anything. On the way back from school , he decided to try and forget about it but he couldn’t .
He had to walk 15 minutes t get back to his house because the bus didn’t go to where he lived . In fact, he lived in one of the most remote places in the area !
But even from that faraway ,he could see something gleaming in the feild nearby . He got closer; the light got brighter . He began to run (sprint even) and there he saw it … A humungous ,celestial ,glistening diamond layer in the middle of the field . Did he know that it was coming . Thousands of questions evoked his mind : How? What? Why? Did I know about this ? And for a minute he even thought it was aliens !
How come no-one else had seen this ? Maybe he could only see it . Did he have some sort of power ?
